Mission Statement
Altrusa International of Cowlitz County, also known as "The Breakfast Bunch" is a dynamic group of women dedicated to recycling in Cowlitz County. Recycling takes many forms in our club – the recycling of reusable products, projects, and people. When we say that we recycle people, we mean that we help them help themselves.

Meetings
First and third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 a.m
Spaghetti Works Deli in Longview, Washington
Please join us anytime – we have a load of fun.

Community Service Projects
We give scholarships to women returning to the workforce. We help children with literacy programs. We keep kids off the streets after school by supporting the youth After Hours program. We give to families in times of need throughout the year. We help with a variety of community projects, such as the restoration of the historic Columbia Theatre and the yearly opening of the Caitlin Community Pool. We serve dinner to homeless and working poor at Community House.

Fund Raising Projects
Our main fundraiser has been the sale of Longview/Kelso and Longview 75th Anniversary Commemorative afghans. This project has inspired community pride and given our club the means necessary to increase funds to existing and new projects.
