Altrusa International of
Roseburg collected $158 in our “Copper for Copper Canyon”
project and gave an additional $100 to buy books for
the children of
Urika,
Mexico. This
money bought over 200 books at Powell’s in
Portland.
We collected school supplies during the autumn
months. One of our members goes to Urika every year
and delivers these books and supplies to the
children. We
shipped 155 pounds of candy to our troops in Iraq. Interpreter
Directories is an Altrusa project of many years and
is updated biannually. Revised directories were
distributed to 180 businesses Submitted by Betty
