| The Ways and Means committee was very busy this year
organizing and participating in numerous fundraising
events for the Foundation and Club budgets. |

We scooped ice cream at an art fair in June and
festival in the park in July.

We sold gift-wrap in August and held our annual
golf tournament "Tee Up for Service" in
September.
-
We sold butter braid breads in October, held a
silent auction in November
- We
had a Pampered Chef Party in January.
-
We tried something new and ended this year with
a big foundation raffle - with a twist - a
Spring Fashion Show and Lunch. The community was
invited and 69 guests attended.

We sold seven of our Douglas County Afghans,
which are available for purchase at various
community locations and from all club members
-
We raised nearly $20,000 in ten months.
